“This afternoon I visited Marina Betina in Murter, a nice island northern than Vodice, a very good departure spot for the Kornats. Mario and Sanja warmly welcomed me as we all met back in January at the Dusseldorf boat show, and Betina is one of those places where it is good to rent a sailboat as it is surrounded by beaches, so you don’t need to worry if you arrive too early: you will just relax while the boat gets prepared. The Marina offers all services, including a restaurants and is very close to the original fishermen village and the nearest of the Kornati Islands it only 9 nautical miles away! We lunched together in the Marina, a modern harbor with many facilities and I like their philosophy: a small and traditional charter company with 13 boats in the range of 34 to 50 feet.
